Cookout cost for membership is FREE! Cost for non-members: $7

Pay for your NSBE-AEDC membership or cookout cost at the event. We will only be able to collect chapter dues at the cookout. National dues must be paid online at the National NSBE Website (www.nsbe.org)

National Society of Black Engineers - Alumni Extension | Washington, DC Metropolitan Chapter

Established in 1989 and officially charted in 1990, the objectives of NSBE-AEDC have and continue to be: 

·   The advancement of minority engineers and techincal professionals in industry

·   Promoting as well as retaining the number of students currentlypursing engineering degrees at the undergraduate and graduate level

·   Stimulating and developing studentinterest in science and engineering; as well as supporting NSBE and its local DC Metropolitan student chapters.

Members represent Washington, DC, Suburban Maryland and Northern Virginia. NSBE-AEDC's success in fulfilling its mission is reflected in its status as the 2000, 2001, and 2009 NSBE Alumni Chapter of the Year.

NSBE-AEDC is recognized as NSBE's largest alumni chapter in the United State, and as NSBE-AEDC continues to grow, so will its impact on the community at large.
